What is regenerative ranching?

Regenerative ranching is a revolutionary approach to agriculture that prioritizes the health and wellbeing of the land, animals, and people. It's a holistic system that goes beyond traditional farming practices by actively restoring the natural resources of the land. By mimicking the natural cycles of the ecosystem and animals to graze in a way that promotes plant growth and health, regenerative ranching produces high-quality, nutrient-dense meat, supplements, and leather goods–nourishing both body and the environment.

At Ring of Horns, our sole intention is to create a meaningful impact on the health of our consumers, community and the ecological wealth of our land.

What is a Ring of Horns?

When the young are threatened by a predator the herd makes a special call to gather the calves together. All of the females in the herd form what's known as a Ring of Horns - a circle around their young, heads outward, horns interlocked together in a communal act of protection to defend against a threat.

How is your Bison herd raised?

Our herd is raised on pasture and are grass-fed and finished. We manage our herd holistically in a manner that will overtime create a net-positive return on the planet by sequestering carbon from the atmosphere and regenerating the land. Through the bison's natural behaviors they play an integral role in this process through fertilization, soil aeration and selective grazing. We pledge to always work with nature rather than against it to heal our ecosystem and raise our bison sustainably.
